Geoff Davis

Director– Sydney Office

Geoff joined Rodgers Reidy early in 2006 and is now a Partner in our Sydney office.

Geoff has over fifteen years of Reconstruction and Insolvency experience in large second-tier and smaller firms in both Sydney and Perth, where he enjoyed broad exposure to all types of personal and corporate administrations.

Geoff has also worked commercially in several senior roles in the IT and financial sectors. This included fulfilling the position of CFO of a publicly-listed investment company. He obtained his Chartered Company Secretary qualification during this time in the commercial sector.

Before returning to Sydney and joining Rodgers Reidy, Geoff and his family lived in Canada where Geoff had a short stint as a lumberjack, of all things.

Geoff’s insolvency assignments have taken him from the ordinary to the extreme, and everything in between. Geoff has been exposed to some of the biggest corporate investigations in Australia including Sunmark Ltd. He has also undertaken a number of litigation support assignments on behalf of financiers.

Personal Interests

Outside of work hours, Geoff is a keen cyclist, triathlete and sailor. He has competed in a range of multisport events, having achieved five finishes in the Australian Ironman Triathlon among a large number of other national and international races and marathons. His sailing experience includes many seasons on 14 and 16 foot skiffs in both Sydney and Perth.
